# GIDEON Platform Access & Use Terms Effective Date: March 31, 2026 By accepting these terms in the platform, you acknowledge and agree on behalf of your agency that: ## 1. Purpose of Platform GIDEON is an intelligence support platform that reviews publicly available online content to identify behavioral indicators associated with potential threat activity. GIDEON provides situational awareness only. It does not determine intent, verify identity, establish probable cause, or constitute evidence on its own. ## 2. Publicly Available Information Only GIDEON is designed to analyze publicly accessible online content only. It does not access private accounts, encrypted communications, or restricted data. ## 3. Agency Responsibility Your agency is solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and independently assessing any information provided through the platform. All investigative, enforcement, and operational decisions remain solely with your agency. ## 4. No Guarantee of Detection or Service GIDEON does not guarantee continuous monitoring, real-time detection, uninterrupted service, or the identification of every potential threat, actor, or incident. ## 5. Accuracy Disclaimer Alerts, scores, classifications, and behavioral assessments generated by GIDEON may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, false positives, or misinterpretations. All platform output must be treated as preliminary intelligence only. ## 6. Independent Verification Required Any information obtained through GIDEON must be independently verified by your agency before being used in any affidavit, warrant application, subpoena request, arrest decision, criminal charging decision, or other legal proceeding. ## 7. Lawful Use Only Your agency agrees to use GIDEON solely for lawful public safety, intelligence, and law enforcement purposes, and not for unlawful surveillance or targeting based solely on race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, political views, or other protected characteristics. ## 8. Confidential / Proprietary Methods GIDEON’s methods, workflows, detection logic, analytics, scoring systems, data handling processes, and platform design are proprietary and confidential. Your agency agrees not to copy, disclose, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive GIDEON’s underlying methods or systems. ## 9. Source Protection Protocol The Agency acknowledges that information provided through GIDEON is derived from proprietary intelligence processes and publicly available sources that are aggregated, analyzed, and surfaced through GIDEON’s internal systems. The Agency agrees not to: * Identify GIDEON as the originating source of information in any public report, affidavit, or external communication where doing so would expose or compromise GIDEON’s methods or intelligence processes * Disclose, describe, or characterize GIDEON’s internal detection methods, workflows, or data collection processes * Attribute investigative findings directly to GIDEON in lieu of independent verification When using information derived from the platform in investigative or legal contexts, the Agency agrees to: * Independently review and verify the underlying publicly available content * Reference such content as having been identified through lawful review of publicly available information * Use appropriate affidavit or reporting language that does not expose or rely upon GIDEON as the originating source GIDEON may provide recommended language for use in affidavits or official reports to support source protection and legal compliance. Failure to adhere to this Source Protection Protocol may result in suspension or termination of platform access. ## 10. Internal Agency Use Platform access, alerts, and materials are provided for internal agency use only, except where disclosure is required by law or necessary for legitimate law enforcement coordination. ## 11. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, GIDEON, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any claim, loss, damage, investigative outcome, operational decision, missed detection, false positive, delay, interruption, or other consequence arising from or related to use of the platform. ## 12. Suspension / Termination GIDEON may suspend or terminate platform access at any time in the event of misuse, unauthorized sharing, security concerns, non-payment, or violation of these terms. ## 13. Acceptance Authority By accepting these terms, you represent that you are authorized to do so on behalf of your agency or that you have been delegated authority to accept platform access terms for your use.
